National Sports Week at CVPS (June 2025)
An action packed week saw CVPS pupils participation in a range of exciting activities throughout National Sports Week.
All pupils participated in skateboarding or scootering sessions delivered by Team Rubicon. Later in the week they took on GB and England gymnast, Courtney Tulloch, in a circuit challenge!
Additional activities included;
A huge thank you to JBTMT and CVPS PTA for supporting pupils in accessing the many activities they accessed during National Sports Week.

- Wren Class developing their gross motor skills as they navigated obstacles whilst making quick decisions. With great confidence and resilience, all pupils attempts each activity.
- Owl Class testing their strength and endurance at Clip and Climb. They navigated climbing walls whilst using team work and effective communication.
- KS2 pupils visiting The Kia Oval for County Championship Day 2 to watch Surrey take on rivals Durham.

Red Kite pupils enjoyed an exciting few days at Buddens Activity Centre in Dorset.

Woodpeckers visit High Ashurst
Woodpeckers enjoyed an overnight stay at High Ashurst. During their visit they participated in a range of activities including archery, high ropes, building fires and team building.

We took part in the HLP Art Exhibition this year which was held at Oakwood School.

Spanish Day (February 2025)
Pupils participated in a variety of activities throughout the day to develop and practice their language skills. Pupils made a Spanish omelette or bruschetta, whilst others made a collage of La Sagrada Familia in the style of Gaudi or learned steps in Spanish dancing lessons.

During an exciting art-focused day, pupils revisited their visit to The Lion King through a range of activities including puppetry, dance, drumming and the creation of graphic scores.
