Throughout the Foundation Stage pupils are assessed to check their development against age related expectations i.e. 22-36 months, 30-50 months and 40-60 months. At the end of the Foundation Stage pupils are assessed against the Early Learning Goals (ELG). They are judged as either 'emerging' (1) into the ELG, 'expected' (2) or 'exceeding' (3) the ELG. If pupils are identified as 'expected' or 'exceeding' the ELG in Communication and Language, Physical Development, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Literacy and Maths, then they are judged as achieving a 'Good Level of Development'.

2018/19 Outcomes

In 2019 87% of pupils achieved a Good Level of Development.
