JEM Taekwondo
Dear Parents/Guardians
We are pleased to tell you that Charlwood Primary School will be running an after school Taekwondo Club.
This Taekwondo Martial Art club is a fun, energetic and disciplined martial art class suitable for both boys and girls. The class will work through the British Taekwondo syllabus, focussing on sparring, pad work, patterns and self-defence. Taekwondo has a vast amount of positive benefits such as improving stamina, flexibility and posture. Like most martial arts, it is a sport that is inclusive to all, promoting positive well-being, enabling the children to naturally enjoy the sport. Head teachers from local schools confidently agree that taekwondo is a great way of developing not only a child’s co-ordination but promotes concentration in the classroom.
Day: Friday 3.30 - 4.30 PM - Year Reception - Year 6
