Environmental Area Print E-mail

Over the past couple of years we have spent a lot of time (and money) on our Environmental Area.  We gratefully received a grant from Gatwick Airport Community Trust that helped enormously.  We held a 'Planting Day' on Wednesday 13th May 2009 when parents/carers and all the school were involved in planting our new stock of plants.  The plants were kindly purchased by the PTA.

We are pleased to announce that we will have a Grand Opening of our Environmental Area on Wednesday 17th June 2009 at 2.30 p.m.

Playground Print E-mail

For children, the playground is just another classroom, even if they don't realise it. Its a place to learn and develop skills. Social skills, balance and dexterity, and just making friends. We try to allow the children the time and space to express themselves.

Dining Hall Print E-mail

School meals are served in a separate dining hall and the children are encouraged to eat the daily cooked midday meal.

The present cost is £1.80 and dinner money should be paid weekly on a Monday (or every half term). It should arrive in a sealed envelope or purse clearly marked with the child's name and containing the exact money please, or a cheque made payable to Surrey County Council.

Alternatively, children may bring a packed lunch which they, too, eat in the dining hall.

Lunch arrangements can only be changed with two weeks notice.

Children may bring a carton or flask of drink and some prepared fruit or plain biscuits to have before morning break time.
